This page is an instruction for you if you think that GanttProject behavior differs from what you expect. Maybe it is because there is something you are missing, but in the most cases it is either a bug or unimplemented feature. In such case you need to report this problem to us and/or find a workaround.
One possible way of reporting the problem is start writing email to our team. It is not the best decision because of many reasons, and the main reason is that you hide your problem and probably the solution of that problem from other users. We don't mind public discussion of our problems, it shows that our product is interesting for people. Besides, probably the problem has been already discussed and it is easier and faster to solve it without writing personal emails.
So, here are brief instructions:
- Visit FAQ page.
- Search our forums. Type the words which most likely identify your problem. There are big chances that you'll get a result. For example, if your problem is about project resources, search the word "resource".
- Search our trackers. Probably this problem is already submitted as a bug report
- If you are absolutely sure it is a bug and you have not found a corresponding artifact in the tracker, submit a good bug report. Don't forget to subscribe to monitoring the new bug report. If you monitor it, you'll be sent notifications when it's status changes
- If you are not sure, just ask on the forum
